Kurseong April 10: While Narendra Modi addressed a rally in Siliguri praising the honesty of Gorkhas, posters against Modi put up in the name of Kurseong public appeared in Kurseong town making it the hot topic.
The poster read, “Mr Narendra Modi called the Gorkha community “Chowkidar” in his speech today. All the people of Kurseong condemn the dishonourable word that Mr. Modi has used”.
The GJM reacting prompt to the poster said that it was an act of unidentified persons to defame the BJP and its prime ministerial candidate. “Modi infact praised the honesty of the Gorkhas. The opposition parties are taking this in a negative way and trying to defame the BJP so that it loses the seat,” said a leader.
